Ron Campbell currently works as an Independent Consultant, specializing in technical trade issues and government relations. He is also the Executive Director for the Mexican Hass Avocado Importers Association (MHAIA), and the Secretary for the Board of Directors at Avocados From Mexico.

Campbell previously gained experience as the Director of Phytosanitary Issues for the Western Hemisphere, Plant Protection and Quarantine Programs, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS, PPQ), where he had a major leadership role in planning, coordinating and directing APHIS plant health programs involving import and export trade in plants, plant products and fruit and vegetables.

Campbell has also obtained experience in port operations and inspection, business advisory and advocacy, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture.
