The Mexican avocado industry delivered more than 2.76 billion pounds of avocados to the U.S. market in FY26, the highest import volume in its history. An exceptional crop, outstanding fruit quality and strong coordination across growers, packers, exporters and importers helped make the record possible. The historic milestone represents a 20% increase over FY25 and a 37% increase over the past five years, demonstrating the strength and scalability of an industry equipped to meet growing demand with a reliable supply of quality avocados throughout the year.
